I was born in the beautiful country of Guyana in South America. In my early years I grew up observing the world around me and listening to stories that would later shape my writing. I now live in England where I have spent many years working as a dedicated Educator both in Islam and mainstream education.

Family is the heart of my life. I am blessed with four wonderful children and eighteen grandchildren. They inspire me to write clearly and kindly.
